A 犀利士 solar eclipse occurs when the Moon passes between the Earth & the Sun. When the apparent diameter of the Moon is less than the Sun during the eclipse, it can be observed with an annularity.
The first and only annular solar eclipse of 2021 will occur on Thursday, June 10 at 01:42 PM (IST). This will be visible from some parts of the world including northeastern Canada, Greenland and northern Russia while the partial eclipse will be visible from northern Asia, Europe & northern Africa. At the maximum point, skywatchers can experience a ring of fire shining with about 1/10 of the Sun’s normal total light.
Unfortunately, this will not be visible in Sri Lanka.

பூமிக்கும் சூரியனுக்குமிடையே சந்திரன் கடந்து செல்லும்போது சூரிய கிரகணம் நிகழ்கிறது. கிரகணத்தின் போது சந்திரனின் தோற்ற விட்டம் சூரியனிலும் சிறிதாக இருக்கும்போது அது வளைவடிவத்துடன் தோன்றும். 2021இன் ஒரே சூரிய கிரகணம் ஜூன் 10, வியாழக்கிழமை அன்று பி.ப 01.42 இற்கு (IST) தோன்றும். இது வடகிழக்கு கனடா, கிறீன்லாந்து மற்றும் வட ரஷ்யா உட்பட உலகின் சில பகுதிகளில் தெரியும் அதேவேளை, பகுதி கிரகணம் வட ஆசியா, ஐரோப்பா மற்றும் வட ஆபிரிக்கா ஆகிய இடங்களில் நிகழும். உச்ச பட்ச கிரகணம் நிகழும்போது சூரியனின் சாதாரண ஒளியின் 1/10 பங்கு ஒளியுடனான நெருப்பு வளையமொன்றை பார்க்கலாம். துரதிஷ்டவசமாக இதை இலங்கையில் காணக்கிடைக்காது.
