The Full moon of 26th May is called Super Flower Full moon, will have three celestial events at the same time according to NASA. It will be the largest and closest Full moon of the year, making it a Supermoon, a total lunar eclipse and a blood moon appear in the sky. The moon will gradually get darker, taking on a rusty or blood-red color, when the Moon passes completely through the Earth’s dark shadow or umbra (when the total lunar eclipse occurs). That’s 犀利士 why these types of lunar eclipses are called Blood Moons.
The total lunar eclipse will be visible in the Western United States, Canada, Eastern Australia, New Zealand, Pacific Islands, and some other countries. The eclipse begins at 2.17 p.m. and the full eclipse at 4.41 p.m. in the magnitude of 1.009. It gets maximum at 4.48 p.m. and the full eclipse ends at 4.55 p.m. according to the Sri Lankan time. So, unfortunately, it is not visible to Sri Lanka.
A total lunar eclipse occurring with a Supermoon hasn’t happened in almost six years, but don’t worry you can still see the Super Flower Full moon which is the largest and closest full moon of the year on the 26th of May!

2021 වසරේ විශාලතම චන්ද්‍රග්‍රහණය මැයි 26 වෙසක් පොහෝ දින සිදුවනු ඇත. පෘථිවියට ආසන්නම අවස්ථාවකදී සිදුවන මෙම චන්ද්‍රග්‍රහණයේදී චන්ද්‍රයාගේ චන්ද්‍ර විශාලයේ වැඩි වීම නිසා, චන්ද්‍රයා සුපර් මූන් (super moon) අවස්තාවේ පවතියි. චන්ද්‍රයා ක්‍රමයෙන් පෘථිව威而鋼 ි ජායාවෙන් ආවරණය වන විට චන්ද්‍ර පෘශ්ඨය ලේ රතු පැහැයකින් දිස්වන බැවින් මෙවන් පුර්ණ චන්ද්‍රග්‍රහණය blood moon eclipse ලෙස හදුන්වයි. චන්ද්‍රග්‍රහණය ශ්‍රී ලංකා වේලාවෙන් ප.ව 2.17ට ආරම්භ වී ප.ව 4.48 ට උපරිම අවස්තාවට එළඹීමට නියමිත බැවින්, එම කාලසීමාව්වෙදි චන්ද්‍රයා ක්ෂිතිජයට පහලින් පවතින බැවින් ශ්‍රී ලංකාවට මෙම අවස්ථාව දැකබලාගැනීමට හැකි නොවනු ඇත. එනමුත් බටහිර එක්සත් ජනපදය, කැනඩාව, නැගෙනහිර ඕස්ට්‍රේලියාව, නවසීලන්තය හා පැසිෆික් දූපත් කලාප ඇතුලු රටවල් වලට මෙම ග්‍රහණය හොදින් දිස්වනු ඇතයි නාසා ආයතනය අනාවැකි පළකරයි.
කෙසේවෙතත් ශ්‍රී ලාංකාවාසින්ට වාර්ෂික අලංකාර පූර්ණ මැයි සඳ (flower moon)මැයි 26 රාත්‍රීයේ පූර්ව භාගයේදී නිරීක්ෂණය කළහැකි වනු ඇත.

எதிர்வரும் மே மாதம் 27ம் திகதி நிகழவுள்ள இச் சந்திர கிரகணம் செம் மலர் நிலவு (Supper flower blood moon) என அழைக்கப்படும். இலங்கையில் இது பகுதிக் கிரகணமாகவே தென்படும், இலங்கை நேரப்படி 27ம் திகதி பி.ப.02:17 அளவில் ஆரம்பித்து பி.ப.04:48 இல் உச்ச மறைப்பை அடைந்தாலும், இந்நேரத்தில் சந்திரன் இலங்கை அடிவானத்திற்கு கீழே அமைவதால் இதனை அவதானிக்க முடியாது, பி.ப.06:23 அளவில் சந்திரன் உதயத்தின் போதே செந்நிறத்தில், பூமியின் நிழல் மறைத்த நிலையிலேயே காணப்படும். இலங்கை வானில் பி.ப.06:26 மணியளவில் உச்ச மறைப்பை அவதானிக்கக் கூடியதாக இருக்கும் அதேவேளை பி.ப.07:19 அளவில் கிரகணம் நிறைவுறும்.
